Details
The issue of weather tightness has been a widely discussed topic. For several years now with this in mind Dimond began to develop the affinity Cladding System. Unlike any other metal cladding system on the market the Affinity system is BRANZ appraised to ensure weather tightness and is the only metal cladding system in NZ to carry this appraisal.
A year after its launch affinity has now started to gain traction in the market and the first jobs have been completed.
The Solution
This house in Cambridge used corrugate to create a striking and unique design. By using the Affinity system Dimond were able to ensure any areas utilising Corrugate Cladding were Watertight.
The Job was completed by Nathan Taranaki of WTC roofing who comments “Not only was the affinity system easy to install, it saved time during construction. We were able to complete each window on site as we went without having to stop and wait for flashings. On a big job this could save a good deal of time”.
