High demand and ongoing supply challenges are placing increasing pressure on service levels
We are currently experiencing unprecedented market conditions in the New Zealand building industry. Strong levels of demand and ongoing supply chain challenges are placing increasing pressure on service levels at multiple points in the supply chain. We are witnessing similar dynamics across many of New Zealand’s key sectors; exacerbated by ongoing global demand levels and logistics challenges.
In particular, we wish to advise that due to the current substrate supply issues, and delays in receiving imported products, we regrettably can no longer guarantee stock levels or lead times. Whilst we will do our best to maintain stock levels and provide accurate dates on orders, supply constraints mean this information may not remain accurate.
We will endeavour to communicate regularly with you to manage changes to lead times and availability. We strongly encourage you to plan your workflow as far in advance as possible, as longer lead times better enable us to ensure your product is delivered on time and in full.
Notification of ColorCote Lancewood colour change
In addition, we wish to advise of a recent formulation change for ColorCote’s Lancewood colour. The newly formulated colour will now be referred to as Horoeka. While very close in colour to the original Lancewood, we are unable to guarantee an acceptable match between Lancewood and Horoeka.
Unfortunately, due to the aforementioned supply issues, we have limited availability of Lancewood in stock. We are working proactively with our supplier to manage the transition to Horoeka but acknowledge that in some instances this may cause issues for our customers.
We will be working with customers to re-specify existing quotes in Lancewood to Horoeka where possible. For projects that have already commenced in Lancewood, we will be working directly with customers on a project by project basis.
We appreciate these challenges are placing immense pressure on our customers, and we are committed to working constructively with you during this tricky period.
