Quad SI Performance




The Quad SI gutter has been specifically designed, made and tested for the South Island environment. Use with the Ext Fascia 185mm to create a 10mm gap between gutter & fascia to deal easily with overflow and comply with AS/NZ 3500.3.2:1998.

All dimensions given are nominal.


 

Effective cross-sectional area (with 15mm free board): 4840mm²

Flow capacity: 65 litres/min

Minimum recommended fall: 1:500 = 2mm in 1m

Minimum downpipe
Circular - 80mm
Rectangular - min. cross sectional area of 2742mm², smallest dimension at least 50mm.

Catchment area per downpipe based on the above flow capacity is given in Table 3.1L. Use Table 3.1B (Section 3.1.4 of Technical Manual) to determine
the Rainfall Intensity to be used.

Recommended maximum spacing: 900mm spacing (refer section 3.1.4.7 of Technical Manual for recommended spacing where snowfall is possible).
