COVID-19 Update 21st April 2020
The Government has announced that New Zealand will be shifting to COVID-19 Alert Level 3 as of Tuesday, 28 April. The following sets out what our operations will look like as we approach and enter Alert Level 3.
- Our sites will re-open for outbound deliveries and customer collection on Wednesday, 29 April.
Our sales team are available for calls and orders as of today
- For the duration of Alert Level 3, all sales must be placed via email or phone, as customers will not be able to enter the branch office to place orders or process cash sales
- Customers entering our sites to collect product must provide their own PPE and follow all instructions from staff as well as practicing the correct social distancing and public health measures
- Our technical and specification team will continue to be available at all Alert Levels. You can contact them on 0800 ROOFSPEC (766 373) or email@example.com
Safety remains our highest priority and as such on Tuesday, 28 April (the first day of Alert Level 3) we will be re-inducting our staff and ensuring our revised procedures for running under Alert Level 3 conditions are safe from both COVID-19 and operational safety perspectives. Also, please inform us of any revised procedures on your site that may impact how we deliver to you; we will work with our delivery contractors between now and Tuesday to plan how we will adapt to these changes.
For the remainder of the time at Alert Level 4, where we can do so safely, we will continue to fulfil customer orders that qualify as “essential business” in line with our operating procedures under Alert Level 4.
We will continue to support our customers throughout this period with a focus on maintaining our high service standards, and we appreciate your understanding as we adapt to meet the limitations arising from the restrictions of Alert Level 3. Customer orders that qualify as “essential business” will be prioritised in order to support essential businesses during this time.
We acknowledge the processes we have put in place may create some temporary inconvenience however, we have done so with the ongoing health of our customers, employees and the wider community in mind. We are continuously reviewing the situation and will look to amend our process as and when guidance from the Government changes.
